Our Story

Healing begins with something as small as a MUSTARD SEED.”

Our Name: SINAPI

The word Sinapi comes from ancient Biblical Greek, symbolizing faith and the potential of the Kingdom of God.

Just as a mustard seed, though tiny, can grow into a large, sheltering tree, we envision our humble acupuncture practice becoming a place of growth, transformation, and refuge for many.

Our Foundation: The STONE & The NEEDLE

We are twin sisters, both Licensed Acupuncturists, whose Chinese family name 石, meaning stone, holds deep significance.

In ancient Chinese medicine, the earliest acupuncture tools were stone needles, a concept echoed in the classical phrase “针砭” (zhēn biān). This refers to the healing practice of acupuncture and the use of sharpened stone to treat illness.

To us, this term represents both our cultural heritage and our professional calling. Like those original “stone needles,” we aspire to:

  • Bring relief

  • Restore balance

  • Address the root causes of suffering with gentleness, precision, and care.

Bridging Two Worlds

Born and raised in China, our roots lie deeply in the timeless wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Having received scientific and clinical acupuncture training here in the United States, we are uniquely positioned to bridge two worlds - East and West, tradition and innovation.

他山之石,可以攻玉
Jade can be carved from a stone of another mountain.

We see ourselves as that stone - foreign, yet invaluable - offering a distinct and meaningful contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide compassionate, effective, and personalized care grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and supported by evidence-based practices.

We aim to foster trust, nourish healing, and grow a space where each person can thrive - body, mind, and spirit.

Your Journey Starts HERE

We invite you to take root and grow with us.
